Project Description:One of the leading Malaysian banks needs to continue software development work for web, mobile, APIs, database, integration, etc. The deliverables would include a web/mobile app with micro-services (Spring boot+Docker+Kubernetes) back end and MySQL database. There will be various integrations to the current sub-systems of the bank.Responsibilities:The successful candidate is expected to:Work within an Agile team to deliver quality products as one team.Identify test data required to complete the test activities.Conduct test case preparation and execution manually and via automationUnderstand the bank's automation framework and drive the implementation of the same within the team.Define and execute the Automation Test strategy.Successfully manage relationships with all stakeholders, vendors, and third parties.Report and escalate key risks and issues to management as needed.Prioritization of automation deliverables based on their ROI.Reporting on Test Status Report to all respective Stakeholders.Effort Estimation and reporting on progress.Identifying Testing Risks and preparing Risk Mitigation Plans.Create automated regression test scripts and conduct regular maintenance.Perform regular regression runs and work with the DevOps team to build up the testing pipeline.Mandatory Skills Description:We are looking for an experienced Test Analyst with 7+ years of experience having a track record in delivering multiple concurrent, complex projects.Technical Requirements:Behaviour-driven development (BDD)JavaCucumber/Appian testing framework, Gherkin test-case definition languageSelenium WebdriverHTML5, DOM model, XML, XPATHJavascriptHands-on experience on DB level and service level testingWorking experience in both manual and automation testingProven experience in the coordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environmentWorking experience on CI/CD and automation pipelineProven skills in co-ordination and leadership working with vendors and internal teamsAbility to manage a diverse and challenging stakeholder communityNice-to-Have Skills Description:Experience in the financial services sector; especially wealth management.Excellent oral and written communication skills
