We leverage AI and influencer-driven content to make travel discovery and planning effortless.Role Overview:We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to manage inbound and outbound customer inquiries, respond to leads generated and convert the potential customer to generate bookings for the platform. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to drive sales growth while enhancing backend operations .Key ResponsibilitiesSales and Customer Management:Handle inbound leads and respond promptly to customer inquiries through email, chat, phone, or social media.Understand customer needs and convert leads into bookings for stays and trips.Build strong relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and addressing their queries effectively.Upsell and cross-sell additional services or upgrades to enhance the customer experience.Accurately log customer interactions, inquiries, and bookings in the CRM system.·      Execute the sales process to attract new clients, maintain fruitful relationships, and address client needs.·      Resolve guest inquiries or issues, striving to ensure the best possible holiday experience.·      Achieve weekly/monthly targets in a high-pressure, performance-driven environment.·      Employ sales techniques that maximise revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.·      Build strong client relationships to increase repeat business.·      Pay close attention to booking details to minimise errors, client dissatisfaction, and lost revenue.·      Process booking requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail.·      Provide fast, friendly service, actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and offer assistance.·      Guide customers about available offers and services.Process Improvement:Contribute ideas to improve the onboarding process, sales strategies, and backend operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Gather customer and influencer feedback to help improve Gumo’s offerings and user experience.RequirementsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and sales interactions.Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers, influencers, property owners, and team members.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.Interest in travel trends, influencer marketing, and backend operations.Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Excel, or Google Sheets for data entry and organization.Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on challenges in a dynamic startup environment.Preferred Qualifications (Not Required but Beneficial)Previous experience in sales, or tele sales in TravelFamiliarity with backend operations, database management, or social media platforms.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based incentives.Flexible working hours and the opportunity for remote work.A chance to work with a fast-growing startup revolutionizing travel.Opportunities for career growth and transitioning to a full-time leadership role.How to Apply:Interested candidates can send their resumes to careers@ and share their details via the link here -us at Gumo to redefine how the world plans and books travel!
