Job Description:Tata Electronics Pte. Ltd is looking for a Senior Production Planning Manager for our very first wafer fabrication facility in Dholera India. As a Senior Production Planning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire order management, capacity allocation, production scheduling, material planning and inventory management processes in ensuring that products are deliver on time Tasks:Demand forecasting:Analyzing sales data and market trends to accurately predict future product demand and plan production accordingly. Production scheduling:Creating detailed production plans, including start and finish dates, work orders, and assigning tasks to production teams to meet delivery deadlines. Production monitoring:Tracking production progress against the schedule, identifying issues, and collaborate with manufacturing team resolving issues to maintain production targets. Material Planning:Creating detailed material and part plans based on historical consumptions and technical requirements to meet production and engineering needs.Inventory management:Monitoring raw material, spare and consumable part levels, optimizing inventory to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess inventory costs. Reporting and analysis:Generating reports on production schedule performance, including key metrics like lead time, production efficiency, and scrap rates. Team leadership:Leading and motivating a team of production planners and schedulers to achieve production goals. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field with more than 10-year experience in semiconductor industry.Certifications like Certified Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) can be beneficialStrong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Production planning expertise: Understanding of semiconductor production processes, scheduling techniques, and inventory management principles. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning softwareProject management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Communication skills: Effective communication with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, supply chain and operations.
