Role Overview: The Collection Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the collection activities for Loan Against Property (LAP) portfolios. The role involves strategizing, implementing, and monitoring collection processes to ensure timely recoveries while maintaining customer relationships and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Manage and monitor the collections for the Loan Against Property (LAP) portfolio across various buckets (0-30 DPD, 30-90 DPD, 90+ DPD). Ensure timely follow-ups and effective recovery strategies to minimize delinquency rates. Take proactive steps for early warning signals to control NPAs and write-offs. Maintain and update collection MIS, dashboards, and reports on a regular basis. Lead and manage a team of field collection executives/agencies to ensure target achievement. Provide necessary training and guidance to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Set collection targets for teams and track performance through KPIs. Key Skills & Requirements: ✔ Strong knowledge of LAP collections, recovery processes, and legal frameworks (SARFAESI, DRT, Arbitration, etc.). ✔ Hands-on experience in managing delinquent accounts and reducing NPAs. ✔ Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for collections in NBFCs. Education & Experience: Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 5-8 years in NBFC collections, preferably handling Loan Against Property (LAP) recoveries.
