The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in BI/ETL, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. While experience with DBT is preferred, candidates without DBT experience will be considered with a willingness to ramp up.Key Responsibilities1. Data Pipeline Development & SupportDevelop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for data processing and analytics.Support production data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow and transformation.Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in real-time while adhering to SLA standards.Implement continuous improvements to enhance pipeline efficiency and reliability.2. BI & Data Visualization SupportDesign and develop data models to support BI and analytics reporting.Work with visualization tools like Tableau and other BI platforms to create insightful dashboards.Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and performance across reporting environments.3. Database & Infrastructure ManagementSupport and manage data warehouses and cloud-based platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).Ensure data security and compliance with organizational and industry standards.Collaborate with DBAs and Data Architects to optimize database performance.4. Agile Project Execution & DocumentationWork closely with the team to align data solutions with business requirements.Follow Agile methodologies for sprint planning, backlog tracking, and iterative development.Document technical specifications, data models, and system architecture for knowledge sharing.Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in BI, ETL, and Data Engineering.Expertise in SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Fivetran, Attunity), and data transformation frameworks.Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred).Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau and data modeling best practices.Experience working in a production support environment with 24/7 availability (preferred).Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance ETL processes for efficiency.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.Preferred QualificationsExperience with DBT (Data Build Tool) or a willingness to ramp up.Familiarity with Jira or other ITSM tools for incident tracking and resolution.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and DevOps best practices.Work Schedule & ExpectationsShift: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM India Time (5 hours) with the ability to stay fully engaged at your computer for 5 hours without taking on any other job during this timeParticipate in daily/weekly status updates with the team.Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure seamless support.Be available for on-call escalation as needed.CompensationCompetitive hourly rate, based on experience and project requirements.Contract duration aligned with Managed Services engagement.
