RoleAs a Software Engineer at Quiet Loud, you’ll play a pivotal role in building, optimizing, and scaling our core platform. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, influencing product direction while writing high-quality, scalable code. We are looking for engineers who can solve problems, and enjoy doing it!What You’ll Do:Design, build, test, and maintain scalable software solutions with a focus on user experience and performance.Take ownership of architectural decisions and drive the adoption of modern technologies.Lead the full development lifecycle, from ideation to production, including setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly deliver new features while ensuring the optimization and maintenance of existing codebases.Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning.Integrate various payment gateways and third-party services to ensure seamless transaction processing on the platform.The Existing Tech Stack:Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Material-UI/Tailwind CSSBackend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQLCloud: AWSDevOps: CI/CD Pipelines, Automated TestingArchitecture: SOLID Principles, Design Patterns, REST APIsWhat You Bring:3+ years of experience with Node.js and React, preferably with TypeScript, in building production-grade applications.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS).Strong understanding of payment integrations and SaaS architecture.Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and the ability to excel in fast-paced environments.Proficient in modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS and UI libraries like Material UI.Demonstrates a self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership, capable of thriving in ambiguous startup environments.Passionate about startups, collaborative teamwork, and driving continuous improvement.Bonus Points:Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and scalable infrastructure solutions.Expertise in optimizing PostgreSQL performance and fine-tuning database systems for efficiency.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, as well as tools for automating cybersecurity measures.A strong interest in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Agentic AI technologies.
