You will report directly to the HLM President.•You'll continually track and evaluate performance and behaviour to ensure what we're building is delivering against our set tactics and targets on performance & people.Job DescriptionBusiness Management:•Lead and supervise devising scientific, medico-marketing and strategic content planning for brands.•Works closely with creative/copy to develop professional content.•Works closely with other groups such as PR, Managed Markets, Digital, Consumer) to provide medical accuracy and support brand strategy.•Constructively review content to ensure strategic alignment and enhance its impact on supporting key brand objectives.•Conceptualize innovative initiatives that support reactive & proactive marketing strategies on brands.•Actively participate in new business pitches, presentations to internal teams and clients.•Contribute to proposals for incremental business building.•Contribute to proactive business building ideas grounded in sound strategic thinking, considering the client business needs and challenges.•Ensures smooth work- flow management and procedure adherence for department.People Management:•Effectively manages and mentors’ direct reports.•Supervise & Train team of mid-senior level managers on content development as per global norms & standards set.•Effectively work in alliance with task & talent management.•Attract and develop talent.•Establish ways of working to improve quality of work and develop agile team.•Induct cross functional teams.•Establish importance & Train team for collaborative work culture in diverse work settings.•Follows up to ensure goals are met through encouragement and constructive feedback and provides direction when needed.•Motivate team towards high performance.Client Management:•Work alongside key clients on proactive & reactive strategies and implementation.•Ensure interaction & relationship with senior medical/marketing team.•Ensure interaction & relationship with global HHY teams.•Develops and maintains excellent client relationships, especially on the medical side, and earns trust and respect of client counterparts.•Elevates issues or opportunities to more senior agency level as appropriate.Education, Experience & Required Skills:•10+ years of relevant experience having lead function.•PhD, M Pharm, M.B.B.S, MD•Relevant understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech industries and be motivated by a transformative change happening in health sector.•Good understanding of services for pharma, consumer health and/or medical device organizations (Medical content, Scientific Publications).•Deep understanding of HCPs, patients and health seeking consumers.•Excellent communication, presentation skills.•Ability to effectively influence clients, individuals and teams to meet their respective goals.•A collaborative and committed team player.
