About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Senior QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python, excellent problem-solving abilities, and at least 8 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate stability in their career (minimum 3–4 years in previous roles) and possess experience in enhancing frameworks, creating utility tools, and generating reports or performing data analysis using Python. Responsibilities Ensure adherence to testing best practices and deliver high-quality software. Create test plans for team use and knowledge sharing. Enhance test automation frameworks using Python, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. Build custom tools and utilities in Python to optimize testing processes and improve automation coverage. Create detailed, insightful reports and perform data analysis using Python. Automate test cases for UI, API, and backend systems, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and implement new features in existing frameworks. Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines by integrating automation scripts and frameworks. Identify bottlenecks in automation processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in test automation with a focus on Python development. Proven ability to create or enhance test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on experience in building utility tools and performing data analysis or reporting using Python. Expertise in API testing, scripting, and database validation. Strong knowledge of automation frameworks like Selenium, Pytest, or other Python-based testing tools. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Solid understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and processes. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. A track record of stability, spending 3–4 years in previous roles. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the USA for a few months. A GitHub profile showcasing projects, tools, or frameworks developed. Familiarity with generating test reports using Python libraries like Pandas, Matplotlib, or Seaborn. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker).
