Operating in both the USA and India.Summary: As a US Accountant (Manager Level) at Durity, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting operations for US-based clients. You will ensure that all financial transactions are accurate, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. Your expertise will guide and manage the accounting team, ensuring effective financial reporting, tax planning, and regulatory compliance for Durity’s US clients.Responsibilities:Manage Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing for US clients.Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and forecasts for management and clients, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).Tax Compliance & Strategy: Manage US tax filings, tax planning, and compliance for clients, working with external tax advisors when necessary.Team Leadership & Development: Lead a team of junior accountants, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure accurate and efficient accounting operations.Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during audits, ensuring that all documentation and financial records are in order.Internal Controls: Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Client Advisory: Provide strategic advice to clients on financial matters, ensuring they maintain compliance and optimize their accounting practices.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and tax regulations.Experience in managing accounting teams and mentoring junior staff.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks, Zoho, NetSuite, etc.).Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Durity?-Work with a dynamic, global team-Opportunities for career growth and professional development-A collaborative and supportive work culture-Flexibility to work from anywhere-Competitive salary and benefits
