Position Title: Nutrition Specialist Reports To: Site Manager / Unit Manager Location: Sonipat Role Description: Plan and conduct food service or nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health. Supervise activities of a department providing food services, counselling individuals & Dietetic Department Key Responsibilities Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counselling to our team of dietitians & students. Monitor food service operations to ensure conformance to nutritional, safety, sanitation and quality standards. Coordinate recipe development and standardization and develop new menus for independent food service operations in the company Develop policies for food service or nutritional programs to assist in health promotion. Inspect meals served for conformance to prescribed diets and standards of palatability and appearance. Develop curriculum and prepare manuals, visual aids, course outlines, and other materials used in teaching of nutrition Select, train and supervise operating teams who plan, prepare and serve meals at various projects in the company Organize, develop, analyze, test, and prepare special meals to name a few - low-fat, low-cholesterol and chemical-free meals. Plan, conduct, and evaluate dietary & nutritional study. Plan and conduct training programs in dietetics & nutrition, and institutional management and administration. Test new food products and equipment for nutritional evaluation Confer with design, building, and equipment personnel to plan for construction and remodeling of food service units. Identify technological developments in diet planning at hospitals. Conduct audits at our the site on regular intervals Qualifications: Minimum 4 year of experience in hands, MHSC / PG in Nutrition Practical operating experience & knowledge of clinical dietetics, Diet therapy, medical nutrition i.e. covering all aspects for various illness including oncology Planning & prioritizing of specific dietary programs for specialist Hospitals & thereafter train them.
