Job Description

1. Student Counseling & Advising Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students’ academic background, career aspirations, and financial capacity. Advise students on selecting suitable study destinations, universities, and courses that align with their interests and goals. Provide personalized guidance based on student profiles and preferences. 2. Application Process Management Guide students through the entire application process, including document preparation, online applications, and submission deadlines. Assist in drafting and reviewing essential documents like Statements of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation (LOR), resumes, and essays. Track and update students on the status of their applications and follow up with universities when necessary. 3. Visa Counseling Provide detailed information on visa requirements, procedures, and deadlines for various countries. Assist students in preparing and organizing the necessary documents for visa applications. Conduct mock visa interviews and provide tips to improve confidence and success rates. 4. Test Preparation Support Inform students about standardized tests such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, SAT, etc. Recommend or provide access to preparation courses, study materials, and practice tests. Monitor students' progress and suggest improvement strategies if needed. 5. Financial Guidance Advise on tuition fees, living expenses, and other financial requirements. Inform students about scholarships, grants, and other financial aid options. Assist with student loan applications and budgeting advice. 6. Pre-Departure Briefing Organize pre-departure orientations covering topics like travel arrangements, accommodation, cultural adaptation, and academic expectations. Provide checklists for essential items and documentation needed before departure. Facilitate networking opportunities with alumni or current students abroad. 7. Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with international universities, colleges, and educational institutions. Stay updated with the latest admission criteria, course offerings, and changes in application procedures. Attend educational fairs, exhibitions, and seminars to promote partnerships. 8. Marketing & Outreach Participate in and organize educational fairs, webinars, and workshops to attract prospective students. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, social media content, and digital campaigns. Maintain and update student databases and CRM systems. 9. Continuous Learning & Development Stay informed about the latest trends in global education, visa policies, and university updates. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance counseling skills and knowledge. 10. Reporting & Feedback Prepare regular reports on student counseling sessions, application progress, and enrollment figures. Collect and analyze feedback from students and parents to improve services. Maintain transparency and regular communication with students and their families.
