Market Research: Responsible for managing primary qualitative & secondary quantitative research requirements for biomass availability and biofuel industry demand. Responsible for maintaining latest data sets for all current and upcoming business locations across Indian states at district/ taluka level Nature of the research includes – Rural: a) Quantitative crop production data at micro level b) Primary level insights like harvesting practices, residue availability, alternate biomass applications, etc Industrial: c) Industrial cluster identification based on biomass/coal usage d) Exisiting value chains e) Qualitative research to identify platform adoption drivers and deterrents f) Latest state-level supporting policies and schemes Analysis & Market Intelligence: Identification of New Markets / Demand & Supply Clusters Gap analysis with respect to current business On-field validation of research studies as per crop’s season and region Customer Insighting: Exploratory studies for new product development and product-market fitment Customer Insighting through Dip sticks, focus groups and customer surveys Competitor Analysis: Scan competitive landscape and stay updated with their GTMs Handling External Agency Partners: Preparing research briefs in consultation with Business leaders, and Product teams. Understanding business objectives / issues, and designing research that caters to the business needs Recommend appropriate approach (in-house/ agency partners) for research projects based on relevant expertise/experience & cost efficiencies Manage relationships with external agency partners Team handling: Build and manage an in-house team for regular rolling market research needs Experience & Knowledge: Work in Energy, Cleantech, E Commerce, B2B Industrial will be an advantage Work in Indian Market
