For more information, visit Location: Multiple locations in India The candidate will report to Sr. Program Manager/Program Manager Duties and Responsibilities Execution of current programs: Delivery of Health System Strengthening program with speed and accuracy. Coordinate with district/state officials for implementation of health and wellness project Manage day-to-day operations across various components such as capacity building, community engagement etc. Understand the requirement of high level of multi-tasking required at the district level and accordingly develop, execute program strategies to meet milestones. Support and develop district program work plans (project, annual) and MLE plans along with the program lead for successful project execution Stakeholder Management: Liaise with government organizations and Primary/secondary/ tertiary health facilities for seeking permissions, sharing updates, conducting follow-ups. Identify vendors and coordinate for project activity implementation. Coordinate with government approved civil and equipment vendors for completion of project deliverables within time line. Closely work with identified stakeholder to ensure mutually agreed vision is delivered at the facility level and within intervention communities. Coordinate with the PHC level officials for implementation of community engagement activities. Technical inputs: Coordinate with the project head to implement various training activities across identified PHCs Support in development of relevant training materials and conduct trainings for health care providers as well as organizational staff Identify opportunities for operational research and case studies and report them to program lead Collate, report and document monthly progress of the project at the identified district to be shared in monthly review meetings. Office co-ordination: Support Program lead in co-ordination with Procurement & Logistic team and/vendors for timely procurement/delivery of consumables, collaterals etc. Rise to the occasion of working in events of disaster and emergency response. Overseeing the repair & renovation work of with consultants, Procurement & Logistic vendors as well as in house teams. Other Implementation Responsibilities: Gap assessment of identified facilities in coordination with PHC head. Keeping all supporting documents such as case studies, photo consents, school letters etc. ready for timely usage. Any other responsibilities assigned. Required Qualifications Masters degree in social work or equivalent degree with a strong public health experience/ background. At least 5 years of work experience in development sector program along with experience of working with public health department Desired Experience Supervisory experience of managing teams of range of professionals from grass root health workers to highly qualified professionals. Working experience of handling district level project. Experience of working alone with minimum support for achieving the key milestones. Working experience of working with public health department for health system strengthening. Desired profile of the candidate Passion to work with the underprivileged community Should be a good team player as well as good team leader Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Strong organizational skills Experience of working with Govt authorities Open to travel Work experience in urban areas Publications in reputed journals first or second author Understanding of various research methodologies and statistics Skills and Competencies Confident to work alone to take the project deliverables forward at their level, with minimum support from Program lead for day-to-day operations. Ability to work in support of and collaboratively with a range of people at all levels. Computer and Internet competency is required, specifically MS- Excel and MS- word and MS- PPTXs. Works effectively within a variety of situations, individuals and groups. Communicates clearly and professionally in written and oral forms Escalates the operations related challenges in timely manner Helps teams to remove roadblocks Fluency in spoken and written English & Hindi are required.
