Our comprehensive solutions empower brands to expand internationally without altering their marketing strategies.Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee all financial operations, with a particular emphasis on international taxation, including indirect taxes, VAT, and customs. This role involves managing monthly financial statements, payroll management, ensuring core financial compliance, assisting with audits, financial planning, and financial modelling. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant/Certified Public accountant.Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:Assisting senior team in building the financial model and managing the budgetLead the budgeting and forecasting processes.Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.Business Plan Management:Collaborate with senior management to develop and monitor business plans.Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather inputs required for preparing a detailed business planAssess financial performance against business objectives.Taxation:Manage and ensure compliance with international tax regulations, focusing on indirect taxes, VAT, and customs duties.Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns across various jurisdictions.Provide strategic tax planning to optimize the company's tax position.Monthly Financial Flows:Monitor and manage monthly cash flows to ensure liquidity and financial stability.Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, highlighting key variances and trends.Payroll Management:Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws.Manage employee benefits and compensation structures.Compliance:Ensure adherence to all financial regulations and standards in multiple jurisdictions.Implementing robust financial controlsDevelop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.Audit Assistance:Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.Prepare necessary documentation and respond to audit queries.Qualifications:Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.MBA in Finance is acceptable.Extensive experience in financial management, with a focus on international taxation.Strong understanding of VAT, customs duties, and indirect tax regulations.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, international environment.
