ASSOCIATE GAP CONTENT & CURRICULUM SUPPORT SPECIALISTSummary DescriptionThe Associate Gap Content & Curriculum Support Specialist applies content knowledge and instructional design principles to create digital and print instructional materials across products, subject areas, and grade levels. This position also provides support for reviewing and resolving curriculum-specific client issues.Essential Job FunctionsProvide content and standards expertise in creating effective instructional/assessment materials.Analyze standards and other curriculum requirements to develop blueprints, scope and sequences, and other project content-planning documents.Write and edit educational materials (lessons, activities, assignments, assessment items, etc.) for assigned products and content areas.Follow guidance to implement and ensure consistent application of instructional design and guidelinesCreate quality instructional components of print and digital productsCommunicate and collaborate within and across functional teams, as well as with vendors and independent contractors, to manage development efforts effectivelySet priorities to meet deadlines for requested tasks and actively communicate the status with the project leadUpdate and revise existing content development documentation (process documents, guidelines, etc.)Conduct content-related research as directed.Utilize a variety of software and tools to complete job dutiesContribute to projects on multiple products outside the primary area of expertiseAct as a Subject Matter Expert as needed for support ticketsTriage curriculum-specific client issues.Provide 2nd tier support of our content for customers.Resolve curriculum-specific bugs and report defects.Interact with internal teams to resolve issues.Respond to customers following team communication protocols.Other duties as requiredCandidates who will be successful in this role tend to have the following qualities:Strong subject matter expertise in 1 or more subject areasExperience designing content for grades 6-12Flexible work across systems, products, projects, and subject areasStrong knowledge of instructional design and curriculum developmentExperience writing assessment itemsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong critical thinking and analytical skillsQualificationsBachelor's degree in education or a specific subject area in Earth Science (Geology, oceanography, meteorology, and climatology).Teaching experience or curriculum development experience preferred.Impeccable writing and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.Superior written/oral communication skills; an ability to present his/her views clearly and compellingly.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity tools (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Strong research and analytical skills.Ability to complete simple and complex projects, prioritize multiple deliverables, and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.Self-motivated, adaptable, and flexible while managing shifting internal expectations.Interested candidates, please share your updated resume on neelam.fernandes@Thanks & Regards,Neelam FernandesHR Team - MumbaiDisclaimer:LearningMate is an equal-opportunity employer.
