Job Description:We are seeking a skilled GitLab & Bash Scripting Developer with experience in ForgeRock to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Unix/Linux systems, proficiency in Bash scripting, experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in ForgeRock Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.Responsibilities:Develop, write, and debug Bash scripts for process automation.Integrate Bash scripts with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.Improve existing Bash scripts for enhanced performance and functionality.Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on colleagues' Bash scripts.Test and validate scripts in different computing environments.Manage script changes using GitLab.Document Bash scripts and related processes thoroughly.Diagnose and fix issues related to Bash scripting and automation.Monitor and automate system alerts and notifications.Implement security measures within scripts to protect data.Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using ForgeRock technologies (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG).Customize and configure ForgeRock components for user authentication and authorization.Integrate ForgeRock IAM solutions with existing systems and applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ForgeRock IAM components.Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate ForgeRock solutions into CI/CD pipelines.Requirements:Proficiency in writing and debugging Bash scripts.Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.Experience with process automation using Bash.Familiarity with GitLab and version control systems.Proven ability to test scripts in various environments.Solid understanding of system performance monitoring and alert automation.Knowledge of security best practices in scripting.Ability to write and maintain cron jobs for scheduling purposes.Experience with analyzing and managing system logs using Bash.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with developers, system administrators, and DevOps teams.Attention to detail and commitment to writing well-documented scripts.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to participate in and contribute to daily stand-up meetings.Eagerness to stay updated on the latest Bash scripting techniques and automation trends.Experience with ForgeRock IAM solutions (OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG).Knowledge of directory servers and LDAP protocol technologies.Experience with REST APIs and integration of IAM solutions.Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Bash scripting and automation.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience with ForgeRock IAM solutions.This role is crucial for automating repetitive tasks, managing system configurations, enhancing the efficiency of software development processes, and ensuring robust identity and access management
