Job Title: Administrator Location: Ernakulam Job Type: Full-time Experience: 4-7 Years Industry: EdTech/Education Management Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Administrator to oversee all aspects of administration within our EdTech company. The role requires effective management of office facilities, hostels (if applicable), day-to-day administrative tasks, and problem-solving to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in administration within an educational or technology-driven environment, demonstrating a high level of efficiency and leadership. Key Responsibilities: Students & Parents Handling: Act as the first point of contact for student and parent inquiries, concerns, and escalations. Ensure a smooth onboarding process for students and provide guidance on facilities, policies, and services. Coordinate with academic and counseling teams to address student-related issues effectively. Organize orientation programs, student engagement activities, and parent-teacher interactions. 2. Office & Facility Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient workspace. Manage facility-related services such as security, housekeeping, and IT infrastructure. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Maintain vendor relationships for office supplies, maintenance, and services. 3. Hostel & Accommodation Management: If applicable, manage the residential facilities for employees, trainees, or students. Oversee accommodation arrangements, food services, and facility upkeep. Address grievances related to hostel and lodging facilities. 4. Administrative Operations: Supervise administrative staff and delegate responsibilities efficiently. Maintain records, documentation, and databases related to company operations. Coordinate travel arrangements, transportation, and logistics as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 5. Problem-Solving & Coordination: Act as the first point of contact for administrative issues and resolve challenges proactively. Work closely with HR, IT, and other departments to streamline processes. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. 6. Vendor & Budget Management: Monitor and control administrative budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Negotiate contracts with external vendors and service providers. Oversee procurement processes and maintain inventory records. 7. Event & Logistics Management: Support in organizing company events, training programs, and conferences. Manage logistics for meetings, workshops, and external engagements. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Facility Management, or a related field. Proven experience in an administrative role within the education or EdTech industry. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative software.
