Role Overview The D365 and Power Platform Technical Consultant will design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), with a specific focus on the Dynamics 365 CRM tools and Power Platform. The role also involves integrating Azure AI capabilities to enhance functionality and deliver intelligent solutions. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Key Responsibilities: D365 and Power Platform Development, Configuration and Management: Design, build, and maintain custom solutions leveraging Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform. Manage and optimise Power Platform components, including PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Dataverse. Establish robust integrations from Dynamics 365 solutions to other stakeholder systems. Implement and maintain security roles, user permissions, and access controls in D365. AI Integration: Leverage Azure AI services to integrate intelligent features into client solutions, including natural language processing, predictive analytics, and cognitive search. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven enhancements in business processes. Develop and deploy machine learning models in collaboration with data scientists and AI specialists. Code Quality and Best Practices: Ensure high-quality code through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices. Optimise applications for optimal performance, scalability and cost management. Maintain documentation for all design and development efforts, ensuring clarity and consistency. Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Work closely with Business Analysts, UX Designers, and QA teams to gather requirements and validate solutions. Contribute to all key agile ceremonies including sprint planning (inc. effort estimation), sprint reviews, retrospectives and backlog grooming. Ability to work with a range of different clients in different regions and time zones. Identify and resolve application issues, providing robust support for deployed solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies in Dynamics 365, React, and Azure AI ecosystems. Proactively suggest improvements in existing applications and development processes. Qualifications and Experience: Technical Skills: Dynamics 365: Strong experience with D365/Power Platform, including customisation and configuration. Proficiency in Dataverse, PowerApps, and Power Pages. AI and Integration: Experience with Copilot and Azure AI services, such as Azure Cognitive Services and Azure Machine Learning. Proficiency in integrating AI models into applications and workflows. Integration and APIs: Experience integrating D365 with other applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools like Azure Logic Apps. Development Tools: Familiarity with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Database: Knowledge of SQL Server and proficiency in writing queries and stored procedures. Experience: 3+ years in software development with a focus on Dynamics 365 and React. Proven track record of delivering complex web applications and CRM solutions. Experience integrating AI capabilities into business applications. Prior experience in healthcare solutions is preferred. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals. Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate.
