We build and operate modular farms in high-footfall locations—residential communities, hospitality spaces, and retail environments—bringing fresh, locally grown greens directly to where people live and eat. This role is not just about placing farms—it’s about ensuring that once they’re placed, they drive strong consumer sales. The objective is to build a high-frequency, habit-driven market for fresh greens, turning them into everyday essentials. We are in the early stages , and the person who joins us will be instrumental in defining our sales playbook, optimizing placement opportunities, and driving consumer adoption at scale . You own your market approach, sales strategy, and customer engagement without waiting for top-down direction Key Responsibilities 1. Secure Placement Deals for Modular Farms Identify and secure partnerships with residential communities, hotels, restaurants, cafés, and retail spaces Develop structured sales arguments that address the “why” and eliminate hesitation from decision-makers Work with internal teams to refine location strategies based on sales performance and consumer adoption patterns 2. Drive Consumer Sales from Installed Farms Ensure high consumer adoption after placement by designing local engagement strategies Develop launch activations, sampling, and promotions to introduce greens and herbs to residents and customers Work with internal teams to refine pricing, messaging, and packaging for better conversions 3. Own the Sales Pipeline & Revenue Growth Build and own a repeatable, scalable sales process —from lead generation to deal closure Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract finalization directly with partners Monitor ongoing farm performance to ensure each location remains a strong sales driver 4. Optimize & Scale for Long-Term Success Gather and analyze market feedback to refine expansion strategies Identify bottlenecks in sales adoption and actively solve them Document successful strategies to build a scalable sales and expansion playbook What Success Looks Like Within your first six months, you will have secured multiple high-value placements and established a repeatable demand-generation strategy Your work directly increases consumer adoption and recurring sales volume from installed farms You’ve built a scalable sales playbook , allowing us to expand efficiently without reinventing the wheel every time Must-Haves 3+ years in sales, business development, or market expansion —preferably in F&B, retail, or consumer-facing categories Proven experience building sales channels from zero —not just maintaining existing ones Fluency in English & Hindi (Marathi is a plus) Experience handling end-to-end sales cycles —from prospecting to closing Based in Mumbai (or willing to relocate) Nice to Have Experience selling into residential communities, real estate, or HoReCa Familiarity with urban food trends, sustainability, or direct-to-consumer models Prior startup experience—You know how to work in ambiguity and iterate fast Existing relationships within the F&B industry, hotel chains, or retail buyers
