Business Intelligence Analyst Position Summary: Everstream Analytics is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Corporate Operations team. In this role, you will bring your analytical and technical expertise, customer-focus, and strategic mindset to integrate and analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and trends and provide strategic and tactical recommendations to drive customer lifetime value inclusive of a key focus on retention growth. You will work closely with product, services, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure our offerings are optimized for customer value and align with our strategic goals. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, highly motivated, and curious. Key Responsibilities : Connect disparate datasets into a common source and maintain the resulting connections/source for the purpose of generating cross-functional business insights Design and develop analytic read-outs and dashboards and support reporting prototypes using industry standard tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Smartsheet, Power BI, etc.) Utilize data-driven insights and analytics to measure and track the effectiveness of initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on analytics product features and functionalities Conduct data analysis and collaborate with business and development teams to identify success criteria in analytics dashboards, alerts, and reports Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders to distill business and technical requirements and priorities in support of the Corporate Operations roadmap Support the development and deployment of retention, upsell, and win back strategies to increase the profitability of our customer base, improve engagement and reduce churn (maximize customer lifetime value) through analytical insights and informed business rules Present prototypes and documentation to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner Champion data governance in collaboration with Operations leaders to provide data that is accurate, congruent, and dependable; this would be represented in Data Quality artifacts Ensure the Data Analytics Information (Artifacts) are easily available to users for direct consumption Be accountable for project results along with business and technology owners Perform other duties as assigned Experience & Requisite Skills : Adept at utilizing data analytics to derive insights on customer behaviors, communication effectiveness, business process performance improvements, and business planning 5+ years of experience in one or more of these roles: Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst Examples of experience: 5+ years’ experience leveraging data insights to design and implement key Customer Lifecycle Management strategies to boost profitability, elevate engagement and minimize churn (marketing, retention, and upselling) strongly preferred 5+ years experience using data, data structures, using at least two analytics platforms and tech stacks. SQL experience required, Athena and AWS experience preferred. 5+ years experience with Business Intelligence report development and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, QuickSight, etc. 3+ years experience with Data Governance deliverables such as Business Glossary, Data Lineage, etc. Software-as-a-service (Saas) experience strongly preferred Strong business acumen, with preferred industry experience in Marketing, Sales, Field Service Management, Operations, or Product Management Proven ability to communicate effectively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors Strong understanding of digital product development processes, methodologies, and best practices Ability to work with minimum supervision to achieve deliverables and exceed goals Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business discipline or equivalent work experience Work Schedule : Working hours – negotiable between CET and EST time zones
