Position Overview: The Communications and Content Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the narrative and enhancing the visibility of MRIS CW. This role involves creating compelling content, managing the school’s brand presence, and executing effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote the school’s achievements. Reporting Structure: Jointly reports to: School Principal and Central Marketing Communications & Alliances Team Key Responsibilities: 1. Brand Strength Documentation and Story Creation Document Unique Selling Points (USPs) : Conduct thorough research to identify and capture the school’s USPs through data collection, high-quality and engaging content. Develop Compelling Storylines: Craft and deliver impactful stories that effectively communicate the school’s strengths, values, and milestones to various audiences, including prospective students and parents. 2. Content Creation and Management Produce High-Quality Content: Develop and manage diverse content formats, including articles, social media posts, blog entries, and multimedia assets that align with the school’s communication goals. Collaborate for Content Development: Engage with teachers, students, and staff to gather insights and stories that showcase achievements and activities, ensuring content is relevant and engaging. Innovate with Multimedia: Create dynamic reels, videos, and graphics that enhance the school’s digital footprint and captivate the audience’s attention. 3. Event Planning and Coverage Strategize Event Documentation: Plan and oversee the comprehensive coverage of school events, ensuring high-quality documentation through pictures, videos, stories and written reports. Promote and Engage: Utilize various marketing channels to promote events, aiming to boost attendance and maximize community engagement. 4. Social Media and Online Reputation Management Manage Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic social media plan, including content scheduling, audience engagement, and performance analysis to enhance the school’s online presence. Monitor Online Reputation: Oversee the school’s online reputation management (ORM) by addressing feedback, managing reviews, and ensuring positive interactions with stakeholders. Update Website Content: Regularly refresh website content to reflect current information, events, and achievements, ensuring a dynamic and up-to-date online presence. 5. Brand Management Ensure Brand Consistency: Maintain and enforce consistency in all communication materials, aligning with the school’s brand identity and strategic messaging. Uphold Brand Standards: Monitor and ensure adherence to brand guidelines across all communication channels and content formats. 6. Collaboration and Strategy Execution Act as Liaison: Serve as the key point of contact between the school and the corporate marketing team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Execute Marketing Strategies: Work closely with the corporate marketing team to design and implement localized marketing strategies that support the school’s strategic objectives and enhance its market position. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field. Proven experience in content creation, brand management, and social media strategy. Strong proficiency in multimedia production, including photographs, videos, and graphic design. Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
