Job Description: GITAM(Deemed to be University) is inviting applications for a faculty position in the Department of International Business, GITAM School of Business Visakhapatnam Campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, conducting research in international business, and contributing to the growth and development of the department. Roles and Responsibilities: An understanding of international business is essential for students in today's interdependent global world. Faculty will provide students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to understand the global economic, political, cultural and social environment within which firms operate. Faculty should demonstrate the strategies and structures of international business and assess the special roles of an international business's various functions. Design and develop course materials, including syllabi, lectures, assignments, and exams. Provide academic advisement and mentoring to students. Engage in innovative teaching methods and incorporate technology into the learning experience. Conduct original research in areas such as international trade, globalization, foreign direct investment, international marketing, cross-cultural management, etc. Education and Experience: A Ph.D. degree in International Business, Business Administration Effective teaching experience, preferably in international business or related areas. A strong research agenda with a focus on international business issues. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative academic environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
