The QA Engineer will work in a multi-functional Agile team. They may be the single QA Engineer in the team, but will be supported by the Quality tribe. The QA Engineer will be responsible for writing and executing test plans and cases, with an automation first approach, to ensure that software meets both the customer requirements and Quality standards. They will also be responsible for managing defects and collaborating with the team to resolve them. To be successful, the QA Engineer will have to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Soft Skills and experience: Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Excellent attention to detail. Good negotiating and influencing skills. Experience working within teams located in multiple countries. Technical Skills: Software development or QA automation experience using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) . Experience maintaining and executing manual and automated test harnesses. Experience testing REST APIs . Experience with Playwright , Jest or other best in class testing frameworks. Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Cucumber, HTTP request/Assert libraries Experience with CLI tools such as GIT . Roles & Responsibilities: Collaborate with development and product teams to establish test approaches. Design and implement test plans and cases. Develop and execute manual and automated tests such as API, UI, Regression, functional and non-functional tests. Identifying defects and collaborating with the team to resolve them. Integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure reliable and high-quality software releases. Plan and lead User Acceptance Testing with internal and external users. Prepare, set up and maintain test data alongside the ability to setup relevant tools to support test execution Contribute to team initiatives to improve the overall QA process, such as identifying gaps or inefficiencies in automation workflows and manual testing processes and suggesting improvements.
