We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium, Appium, and REST API automation . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and executing automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using Java. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Appium for web and mobile applications. Perform API testing using REST Assured/JUnit , validating request-response mechanisms. Implement BDD test cases using Cucumber and Gherkin syntax . Set up and manage test automation execution on platforms like BrowserStack, SauceLabs, or AWS Device Farm . Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, and JIRA to integrate automated tests into the development pipeline. Conduct cross-browser testing on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge . Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to identify test scenarios and improve application quality. Work in an Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in test automation for web and mobile applications. Strong programming skills in Core Java and experience with Maven . Expertise in Selenium WebDriver (v3.x) & Selenium Grid . Hands-on experience with Appium for Android and iOS test automation. Understanding of mobile automation frameworks like XCTest and Espresso . Strong knowledge of API testing using REST Assured, JUnit, HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE), and JSON syntax . Experience with BDD methodology using Cucumber and Gherkin syntax . Familiarity with test execution on cloud platforms such as BrowserStack, SauceLabs, or AWS Device Farm . Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) and defect management tools like JIRA . Working knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies with in-sprint automation . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good to Have: Understanding of Retail Banking functions and requirements. Experience in testing responsive UI applications . Knowledge of service virtualization (STUBs) . Familiarity with additional API testing tools like Postman, REST Client, or Anypoint .
