What we are looking for: Ganpat University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trainer and Project Coordinator with expertise in baking, pastry making, puff, Biscuits and other item preparation. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record and experience with regulatory frameworks for setting up a plant and a passion for training students. This role involves leading the Choco Bakery Project and empowering students with practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of baking and confectionery. Key Responsibilities: Training and Education Design and deliver training programs on baking, pastry making, and others. Provide hands-on training to students, focusing on practical skills and innovative techniques. Project Leadership – Choco Bakery Project Manage the Choco Bakery Project at Ganpat University, ensuring successful implementation and student engagement. Mentor students in developing entrepreneurial skills related to bakery and confectionery businesses. Guide students in creating innovative recipes and products, maintaining quality standards. Regulatory Framework and Plant Setup Provide expertise in setting up bakery production units, including regulatory compliance and operational guidelines. Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for food safety, hygiene, and quality control in bakery production. Industry Collaboration and Innovation Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and global standards in baking and pastry making. Build relationships with industry professionals, suppliers, and organizations to enhance training quality and resources. Encourage innovation and creativity in product development, aligning with market trends and consumer preferences. Qualifications and Experience: Educational Background: M.Sc/ B.Sc. in Hotel Management, Food Science, or related field. Minimum of 5-7 years as a Chef specializing in baking and pastry making or Project Management. Hands-on experience in regulatory compliance and setting up food manufacturing plants. Proven track record in training and mentoring students in culinary projects.
