Role Overview: The Analytics Team Head will be responsible for leading the Proship D2C Freight Aggregation Business analytics function , overseeing a team of analysts operating in different sub-verticals such as merchant invoicing, dispute resolution, and sales pricing support. This role requires a data-driven approach, problem-solving mindset, and strong process optimization skills , along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Merchant Invoicing & P&L Analytics Oversee merchant invoicing processes to ensure accurate billing and P&L validation for all Proship merchants. Work closely with the Proship Admin Team to resolve invoicing discrepancies. Develop and monitor automated reports on courier allocation adherence, P&L trends, and cost optimization. 2. Lead Tech-Ops Program Management Support Act as the SPOC for technology support for operations, revenue, Key Account Management (KAM), and finance teams. Gain an in-depth understanding of the Proship technology system to diagnose, escalate, and help resolve tech-related issues affecting business functions. Work closely with the Proship Tech Team to test and validate solutions before deployment. Identify root causes of operational challenges and collaborate with tech teams to develop scalable solutions. Handle key use cases such as: Pricing, zone, and TAT updates for merchants and couriers. Serviceability updates based on courier partner inputs. Status mismatches, recalculations, and manual order creation to resolve operational bottlenecks. 3. Merchant Invoicing & Dispute Management Ensure timely and accurate resolution of merchant disputes related to invoicing and weight discrepancies. Standardize and enhance dispute resolution processes for faster and more efficient closures. Develop tracking mechanisms for dispute closure, weight discrepancy management, and merchant claims tracking. Oversee manual order processing, weight upload, and exception handling. 4. Pricing Support to Sales Team Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive merchant and courier pricing models for prospects while ensuring profitable conversion . Optimize courier invoicing and reconciliation processes with dispute resolution frameworks . Lead the courier claims and escalation tracking mechanisms to ensure fair financial reconciliation with logistics partners 5. Reporting, Insights & Execution Models for New Initiatives Take ownership of reporting and generation of actionable insights for new initiatives inside the business team to ensure success. Lead formulation of execution models and dashboards to track progress and measure closure as per defined expectations. Work closely with leadership to identify performance gaps, trends, and process improvements through data-driven strategies. Ensure real-time data accessibility and visibility for key decision-makers. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Merchant Invoicing Accuracy : Reduce invoicing errors, disputes, and weight discrepancies. Tech-Ops Issue Resolution Efficiency : Reduce turnaround time (TAT) for identifying and resolving tech-related issues. Merchant & Courier Pricing Optimization : Ensure competitive, profitable pricing models aligned with business strategy. Dispute Resolution Effectiveness : Reduce merchant-side invoice disputes and improve closure rates. Tech Support Response Time : Improve response time for troubleshooting and issue resolution across departments. Skills & Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in logistics, analytics, finance - operations, or supply chain management . Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, SQL, or business intelligence tools. Experience in logistics aggregation, courier invoicing, and merchant invoicing preferred. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with tech, finance, and sales teams. Strong understanding of technology systems and ability to troubleshoot operational issues . Proficiency in data-driven decision-making , dashboarding, and performance tracking. Prior experience in leading an analytics team across different functional verticals is a plus Why Join Prozo?
