VM Execution Lead – Wholesale and Export Location : Gurgaon, India Reports to : Visual Merchandising Manager Department : Visual Merchandising Job Type : Full-Time Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization The VM Execution Lead for Wholesale and Export is responsible for managing all visual merchandising needs within the Wholesale channel, including campaign execution, store openings, seasonal visuals, and instore product presentation. This role supports business growth and the achievement of target goals across key accounts, fashion specialty retailers, adidas Kids, Decathlon, and export markets. The VM Execution Lead plays a key role in ensuring brand visibility and effective in-store communication to maximize footfall and sales. Key Responsibilities: Campaign Execution and In-Store Presence Own and lead the execution of visual merchandising campaigns across all wholesale doors. Conduct quality checks, perform physical store visits, compile pictures and decks, and create videos for important campaigns. Ensure adidas brand visibility and easy navigation in multi-brand format stores to drive customer engagement and sellouts through VM tools and materials. Store Openings and Renovations Provide comprehensive support for new store openings and renovations, including layout planning, category zoning, capacity calculations, and installation of VM elements. Manage in-store communication elements specific to store needs (e.g., store directories, pathfinders). Team and Vendor Management Launch the Visual Merchandising Coordinator (VMC) program, ensuring VMCs across stores are trained on the latest guidelines and updates to ensure consistent brand presentation. Coordinate with partner visual merchandising teams and external vendors for service and execution across all stores. Store Visits and Best Practices Regularly visit stores within assigned regions to monitor execution and ensure standards are met. Identify and communicate local store needs and best practices to the Visual Merchandising Manager. Competitor and Market Analysis Monitor competitor activities and current trends in the market to inform visual merchandising strategies. Provide feedback on competitor actions and market developments to the Visual Merchandising Manager and implement appropriate tactical solutions. Budget and Cost Control Work within set budget parameters to execute campaigns and initiatives efficiently. Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to drive the performance of the Wholesale channel. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Geographical mobility and availability for regular travel to support store visits and projects. Required Education & Experience Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field. Experience : 3-6 years in visual merchandising, ideally within apparel, fashion, or a related industry. Experience in team management is preferred. Exposure : Experience in the sports, apparel, or retail industry with a focus on visual merchandising is highly desirable.
