The ideal candidate should have expertise in both vocal and instrumental music, a deep understanding of music theory, and the ability to inspire students to develop their musical skills. Key Responsibilities: Plan and conduct engaging music lessons for senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII). Teach vocal and instrumental music, including classical, contemporary, and international music genres. Provide training in music theory, notation, rhythm, and composition. Prepare students for school events, concerts, and inter-school competitions. Guide students in understanding the cultural and historical significance of music. Organize and lead choir, band, or orchestra groups within the school. Encourage creativity and individual expression through music. Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement. Use modern teaching tools, including digital music software and online platforms. Maintain discipline, student performance records, and progress reports. Qualifications & Requirements: Master’s degree in Music (M.A./M.Mus.) with B.Ed. (preferred). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level. Expertise in vocal and instrumental music. Knowledge of Indian and Western music styles. Proficiency in using digital music tools and software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Skills: Experience in preparing students for music exams (e.g., Trinity College, ABRSM, Prayag Sangeet Samiti). Ability to compose, arrange, and conduct musical performances.
