Job Description: As a Patent Associate specializing in Computer Science with a minimum of two years of experience, you will be responsible for supporting the development and management of our patent portfolio in the field of Computer Science. Key Responsibilities: Patent Drafting: Prepare high-quality patent applications with clear and comprehensive descriptions of inventions related to electronics and communication systems. Patent Prosecution: Assist in patent prosecution by drafting responses to office actions, conducting interviews with patent examiners, and addressing any issues to advance the prosecution process. Portfolio Management: Assist in managing our patent portfolio by monitoring patent deadlines, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. Technical Expertise: Apply your deep technical knowledge of electronics and communication systems to understand inventions, identify patentable aspects, and effectively communicate with inventors and technical teams. Legal Compliance: Stay updated on relevant patent laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with intellectual property rights. Collaboration: Work closely with inventors, engineers, attorneys, and other team members to develop and implement effective patent strategies that support the company's innovation goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) preferred. Minimum of two years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution in the field of electronics and communication technologies. Strong understanding of patent laws, regulations, and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills. Patent agent or attorney registration is a plus.
