Must have been involved in steel plant technology selection, preparation of steel plant DPR, Statutory compliances, vendor selection, feasibility analysis etc. Experience of managing large cross-functional/departmental projects Experience of handling a steel plant project of min 3 MTPA capacity or involved in the setting up to 3 MTPA steel plant. Strong on ground experience of project execution, Project Monitoring & reporting. Should have hands on PMO office experience for Budget & Schedule control Ability to work independently in ambiguous environment Role and Responsibilities Managing the PMO office for Budget & Schedule control for ISP. Preparation & Monitoring of Individual project L6 schedule & overall integrated project schedule for ISP Projects. Preparation & Monitoring of dash board MIS for capex projects highlighting the key milestone / risks / resource mapping & contention management. Preparation of Daily/ Weekly /Monthly/Quarterly reports for Mgmt. review; for external stakeholders such as LIE (Lenders Independent Engineers) etc. Coordinating for insuring of overall projects i.e. Marine & EAR policy as per site requirement. Prepare & Control the Budget at overall Integrated Steel Plant Project level & individual unit level. To work closely with dept. heads to prepare budget & cashflow reports. Preparing & Monitoring supply of engineering by Technology suppliers/ Detailed Engineering Consultant, supply of equipment & site execution within approved budget & time schedule. Review & maintain Technical comparisons for vendor finalization and PO (Purchase Order) placement. Review & control the post order tracking of material in close alignment with the POT team for the timely delivery as per site requirement. Monitoring & sensitizing of Safety/ statutory/ legal compliances of Integrated Steel Plant Projects as per stipulated norms. Identification of possible risk i.e. impacting our project time/cost and informing to VP Steel Project for review and mitigation plan. Work in selection of technology partner for various projects. Monitor & ensure the closure of different projects contracts of different location both technically & commercially. Should have hands on experience is successfully installation & commissioning of large-scale steel plant projects.
