About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Head / Associate Business Head to lead the growth and profitability of our Ed-tech firm. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for driving the business across sales, marketing, product development, and operations. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the company by leading high-performing teams, identifying new market opportunities, and driving revenue growth while managing the P&L. Your leadership will guide cross-functional teams in delivering innovative products and services, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, and maintaining a clear focus on the company’s business objectives and financial health. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Growth & Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. Team Leadership: Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team to meet company goals and objectives. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities and create strategies to acquire and expand the customer base. Marketing & Campaign Execution: Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote products. Product Development: Oversee product development initiatives from ideation through design to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to ensure seamless product/service delivery to customers. Financial Oversight: Manage P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, ensuring financial health of the business unit. Risk Management: Proactively identify and address key business risks such as competitive threats, market changes, and regulatory shifts. Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and customers. Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 5+ years of senior leadership experience with proven success in driving business growth, preferably in the Ed-tech industry. Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L responsibilities. Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to drive performance. Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to make decisions and take calculated risks.
