Job Description

Handle Product Company & Customer satisfaction o Responsible for handling Quality Department including incoming, In process, Final & Supplier quality. o Experience of Sheet metal process quality, Control rejections, Comply with Customer's Quality Checks as paid down by customers. o Experience of dealing with two wheeler & four wheeler auto OEMs. Quality Strategy and Policy Development: o Develop and implement a corporate quality strategy aligned with business objectives. o Establish and maintain quality policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent quality across the organization. o Set quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure alignment across business units. Quality Management System (QMS): (ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, 6 CORE TOOL) o Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with relevant standards o Ensure compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and standards. o Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor the effectiveness of the QMS and ensure corrective actions are implemented. o Leadership and Team Management: o Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team, including quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance professionals. o Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization. o Provide guidance and support to business units on quality-related issues and initiatives. Regulatory Compliance: (ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015) o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and industry as per standards, including environmental, health, and safety regulations o Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to maintain necessary licenses, certifications, and approvals. o Stay informed of changes in regulatory requirements and ensure timely updates to processes and documentation. Continuous Improvement: (Six Sigma & Lean Project Implementation) o Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve operational efficiency. o Implement root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and prevent recurrence. o Lead cross-functional teams in quality improvement projects and initiatives Customer Focus: (VOC, Customer Specific Requirements, CFT or MDT Approach) o Act as the primary point of contact for customers on quality-related issues. o Monitor customer feedback, complaints, and satisfaction levels, and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience. o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure customer expectations are met. Supplier Quality Management: (Supplier Quality Standard & Audits) o Develop and maintain supplier quality standards and ensure that suppliers meet the organization's quality requirements. o Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate their quality performance. o Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to address quality issues with suppliers. Risk Management: (Process Robust or Poke Yoke implementation) o Identify and assess quality risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize potential impacts on the business. o Implement robust quality control processes to detect and address issues early in the production cycle. o Ensure that product recalls or quality incidents are managed effectively and in compliance with regulations. Reporting and Communication: o Provide regular reports to senior management on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives. o Communicate quality objectives, policies, and achievements to all levels of the organization. o Represent the company in industry forums, conferences, and customer meetings as a quality expert.
