Roles and Responsibilities: Stakeholder Collaboration: Meet with business stakeholders to gather requirements for data ingestion, KPIs, dashboards, small data-entry applications, data science models, and documentation. Make judgment calls on when to involve team leads or specific engineers in stakeholder discussions. Work with senior leaders to develop initiative roadmaps and long-term strategies. Product Management: Develop and adapt to the product vision, write user stories, and specify acceptance criteria for each story. Prioritize the backlog by clearly expressing backlog items, optimizing team performance, and aligning with organizational goals. Collaborate with the scrum team and participate in ceremonies like backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. KPI and Dashboard Development: Define and monitor KPIs for the BI product, delivering updates to Product Management and stakeholders on benchmarks and opportunities for improvement. Conduct exploratory data analysis, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions to align with product goals. Market Research and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify opportunities and add product features that improve payer operations, attract memberships, and support healthcare payer strategies. Technical Focus: Balance the need for new feature development with tech debt remediation. Provide input on data technologies, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes. Other Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with product management best practices and methodologies. Perform additional duties as required or assigned. Required Skills and Competencies: Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of US Healthcare payer-side operations (Mandatory). Familiarity with HEDIS measures (Preferred). Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of healthcare data, exploratory data analysis, and data-driven insights. Basic proficiency in Business Intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense. Good understanding of data technologies, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
