The ideal candidate should be fluent in Tamil, willing to work in Southern Tamil Nadu, and have a proven track record of growth in startups or established businesses, preferably with a technical or engineering background. Location: Kovilpatti, Tamil Nadu Hybrid Work Mode: Combination of on-site work, remote work, and travel for business development activities. Salary : Rupees 8 to 10 Lacs per annum plus performance incentives and profit-sharing options Key Responsibilities: 1) Entrepreneurial Vision & Strategic execution Lead with a visionary mindset to position the company as a leading enterprise in the state, specializing in the design and development of advanced machinery and automation solutions. Strategically explore new markets and verticals in the region, identifying opportunities to diversify operations and introduce new revenue streams to drive company growth. 2) Sales Channel & Dealership Development Develop and manage distribution channels for industrial components such as bearings, pneumatics, gearboxes, sensors and PLCs. Build dealership networks in regions like Kovilpatti, Sivakasi and Madurai securing exclusive agreements. 3) Showroom Setup & Operations Management Oversee the design and establishment of fully operational industrial spare parts showroom and warehouse. Manage inventory, pricing strategies, and merchandising to cater to industry verticals located nearby (like textiles, printing). 4) Marketing & Branding Work closely with design agencies to design and implement comprehensive online and offline campaigns, enhancing local brand visibility through both print and digital channels. Oversee development of Tamil and English language YouTube videos and other digital campaigns to promote products. Manage trade platforms like IndiaMART and TradeIndia for export orders and new client acquisition. 5) Strategic Product Development and Innovation Perform market analysis to identify opportunities for new product innovation in industrial automation, machine vision, and machinery, ensuring alignment with market demands and industry trends. Integrate new technologies to deliver high-impact solutions that boost efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 6) Event Management Plan and oversee the company’s participation in trade expos and industrial events across India. Collaborate with stall designers to create visually impactful and functional booths that showcase the company’s offerings. Preferred Qualifications Entrepreneurial Experience : Prior experience in founding or scaling startups is highly desirable. Industry Expertise : Strong background in machinery, industrial automation, or robotics. Sales Expertise : Extensive experience in developing sales strategies and establishing dealership networks for industrial products and spares. Marketing Knowledge : Proficiency in digital marketing trends, content creation (e.g., videos, brochures, trade show materials), and experience managing a marketing team.
