Please only apply if your Notice Period is one month or less Job Title: Senior Manager - AWS Location: Noida, India Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of AWS Administration to lead our cloud infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing AWS environments, with a strong focus on access management, data and infrastructure security, cost optimization, and routine AWS administrative tasks. This role is critical to ensuring the security, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of our AWS infrastructure, spread across multiple accounts. Key Responsibilities: Access Management: Develop and enforce access policies and procedures to ensure appropriate levels of access control across all AWS accounts. Implement and manage IAM roles, users, and groups to facilitate secure and efficient operations. Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of our AWS infrastructure by implementing best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and threats. Conduct regular security audits and assessments, and implement necessary improvements. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and organizational standards. Data and Infrastructure Security: Design and implement robust security measures to protect data integrity and privacy. Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and breaches in a timely manner. Manage and maintain encryption protocols and secure communication channels. Cost Optimization: Analyze and monitor AWS spending to identify cost-saving opportunities. Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and reduce unnecessary expenditures. Provide regular cost reports and forecasts to management. AWS Administration: Oversee the day-to-day operations of AWS environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Manage routine administrative tasks such as backup, recovery, patch management, and updates. Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement long-term strategies for AWS infrastructure management aligned with organizational goals. Act as the primary point of contact for AWS-related initiatives and projects. Incident Management: Develop and maintain incident response plans to handle system outages, performance issues, and other emergencies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents and implement preventative measures. Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of AWS infrastructure with business needs. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status and performance of AWS environments. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in AWS administration and cloud infrastructure management. Proven expertise in AWS services, security best practices, and cost optimization techniques. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security – Specialty) are highly desirable. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
