Pharmacist or Science Graduate for Tuberculosis Alleviation, Medicine Donations & Healthcare Initiatives Job Description: Jiv Daya Foundation (JDF) is seeking candidates with a background in Pharmacy , Master's , or Ph.D. in Science to support our Tuberculosis and other healthcare initiatives. The role involves managing the Medicine and Consumables Donation Program to DOT Centers and TB Hospitals across India. Travel Requirement: Frequent travel is required to hospitals and DOT centers in Delhi and tier 1 cities across various states of India . Candidates must be comfortable traveling extensively for site assessments and follow-ups. Eligibility Criteria: Diploma in Pharmacy is not allowed. Candidates with a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy , Master’s , or Ph.D. in Science are encouraged to apply. Main Responsibilities: Site Visits & Assessments: Conduct need assessments at DOT Centers, Chest Clinics, and TB Hospitals. Identify sites with shortages of TB medicines for JDF support. Present JDF kits to hospital staff, explaining their purpose and utilization. Follow up with patients post-kit utilization for compliance and counseling. Medicine Inventory & Logistics: Manage inventory of medicines and consumables procured by JDF. Track donations and usage of medicines at hospitals and DOT centers. Coordinate dispatch and delivery of medicines to designated sites. Draft donation letters and ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Medicine Procurement: Assist with negotiating rates and procuring high-quality medicines from vendors. Estimate medicine requirements for ongoing and upcoming donations. Collaborate with vendors for timely invoices, purchases, dispatches, and payments. Reporting & Accounting: Submit detailed utilization reports for donated items. Prepare weekly and quarterly reports on medicine usage and inventory. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions with vendors. Healthcare Initiatives Support: Counsel patients and gather information for JDF's Maternal Health and Rheumatology programs. Provide follow-up and guidance to ensure proper treatment adherence. Required Qualifications & Skills: Educational Background: Bachelor’s in Pharmacy, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Science. Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years in a relevant field.
