Learn more at: Position Responsibilities Reporting to the Logistics Leader, the position is accountable for operating the development and planning of all inbound/outbound logistics planning activities. Lead the design and execution of the logistics network and monitor performance of service providers Ensure all parts are available during the production launch build phase so a flawless and a competitive start-up is achieved. Identify and eliminate high risk activities using risk reduction tools, such as PFMEA, risk assessments, etc. Ensure that all programs meet the three measures of a successful vehicle launch: on time, excellent quality and meeting and/or exceeding program financial targets. Empower and support teams to improve their work environment and eliminate any constraints. Work with Manufacturing partners to develop and implement strategies to increase value added activities within manufacturing and to support the investigation of incidents and disseminate learning’s from these Position Requirements 4+ years’ experience in high volume and complex manufacturing, preferably the automotive industry Automotive industry knowledge or automotive mechanical knowledge is essential Experienced in developing and implementing successful Lean Material Systems and Operational Excellence. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or Business at a minimum Preferable to have Bachelors or advanced degrees in either supply chain, business or engineering. Demonstrated successful leadership of direct organizations and teams in a similar role Good common sense business insight and experience with the development and implementation of business strategies. Strong ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information. Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills.
