Job SummaryBahwan CyberTek (BCT) is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in providing technical support, implementing solutions, and handling business analysis, particularly in the educational (EdTech) and industrial sectors. The role involves client interaction, solution design, and ensuring the successful deployment and maintenance of our products and services.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with clientsto understand their technical requirements in educational or industrial needs.Analyse and map client needs to BahwanCyberTek’s offerings, including hardware, software, and EdTech products.Prepare, present, and refine proposalsto ensure they meet clientexpectations and adhere to industry standards.Collaborate with internalteams to ensure the feasibility and accuracy of proposals.Lead the installation and deployment of technical solutions in educational institutions and industrial setups.Provide on-site and remote support for the installation of complex systems, including calibration, configuration, and demonstration of equipment.Customize and configure software and hardware solutions to meet client specifications.Deliver training sessions and create documentation for end-users, ensuring effective adoption of the solutions.Provide ongoingtechnical support to clients, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to installed solutions.Perform regular maintenance, updates, and enhancements to ensure the optimal functioning of systems.Coordinate with sales team and work on technical solutionand proposal to win business opportunities.Travel at clientlocations for meetings, demos, installation and support related requirements.Work closely with clients and internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement or additional services.Maintain detailed records of installations, support cases, and maintenance activities to ensure clear communication and follow-up.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering in Electronics and Communication or a related field.7+ years of experience in a technical support, application support, or business analysis role.Proven experience in supporting and implementing technical solutions in educational or industrial environments.Strong understanding of educational engineering lab equipment, control systems, and software solutions.Excellent communication skills,with the abilityto interact effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams.Strong problem-solving skills and meticulousattention to detail.Preferred SkillsKnowledge of installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex education and training systems.Ability to manage multiple projectsand prioritize tasks efficiently.Familiarity with various engineering lab setups (e.g., control systems,robotics, mechanical, electrical).Knowledge of future skills such as AI, IOT, Advance manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Autonomous vehicles, renewable energy, block chain, cyber security is a plus.Required to travel frequently and stay onsite for longer duration.
