The ideal candidate has a passion for gaming, deep empathy for players, and the ability to create intuitive, delightful, and innovative designs.Responsibilities:Lead the UI and UX design process for new and existing games, ensuring exceptional player experiences.Collaborate with game designers, developers, animators and product managers to conceptualize and prototype engaging gameplay flows and interfaces.Conduct user research and usability testing to gather player feedback and inform design decisions.Create wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and final design assets.Work closely with cross-functional teams to iterate and refine designs based on real-world player data and feedback.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in gaming and UX design.Qualifications:2+ years of experience in a gaming studio or equivalent, with a strong portfolio of shipped titles or game projects.Proven expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent.Experience conducting user research and translating findings into actionable designs.Familiarity with designing for alternate platforms like Facebook Instant Games, Discord, or similar ecosystems is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior and motivations.
