Objective:Operations Research Scientist role would require building large-scale optimization models for different Adani Businesses including Ports and Terminals, Airports, Cement, Logistics & warehousing, Green Energy, Mining to drive business value.Description for Internal Candidates:Key Responsibilities of RoleDesign and develop complex optimization and simulation models and apply them to define strategic and tactical needs and drive the appropriate business and technical solutions.Apply mathematical optimization, including linear programming, combinatorial optimization, integer programming, network flows and algorithms to design optimal or near optimal solution methodologies.Experience designing and implementing optimization models for discrete/combinatorial optimization problems (e.g., vehicle routing, scheduling, ports and logistics, and facility location) and experience with leveraging such models to provide guidance for (long-term) strategic and (Short-term) tactical decision making.Involve in building the optimization roadmap for Adani Group and advance the business benefits by researching and developing innovative solutions with proven Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, and Statistical methodologies.Communicate technical outcomes to VP and C-level executives.Qualifications and Experience:1. PhD or master’s in operations research or related area.2. Hands-on experience with CPLEX/Gurobi and Python/C++ to solve real-world problems independently3. Good knowledge of Mathematical modeling and MILP algorithms
