Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of tech-enabled change projects within the organization, managing and coordinating the full project lifecycle from initial analysis and requirement capture to deployment and transition into business-as-usual.The Project Manager is responsible for delivering an agreed scope on time and within budget, through driving value-based outcomes and managing risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies. The Project Manager will work with delivery teams (may include 3rd parties) and keep sponsors updated through robust governance and regular reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify project goals (in and out of scope) and project deliverables in collaboration with project customer as well as relevant stakeholders and define project approach. Define project plans including timeline, budget and resources, project team and providers and milestones. Steer and monitor time, cost, people and quality within the managed projects as well and perform controlling and monitoring of financial aspects including project financial closing activities. Analyze and coordinate all internal and external project stakeholders (esp. service providers, suppliers, internal departments, project team, etc.). Ensure project deliverables (incl. documentation, reporting of relevant project results etc.) and align closely with project customer regarding status and progress and ensure management of changes in running projects in collaboration with the project customer and project governance (e. g. scope, budget, timeline). Contribute to development and optimization of project management standards, core processes and evaluation principles. Perform lessons learned workshop with the project team and document in database. Identify and report project risks and initiate, implement and follow-up on counter measures for minimization. Plan and ensure continuous communication, involvement and alignment of all relevant stakeholders (e. g. Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, Finance and other business functions etc). Monitor and support correct contract and claim management with external suppliers with related departments. Building, managing and motivating of teams as well as managing arising technical and interpersonal conflicts. Depending on business need, being able to accommodate work and or meetings outside of standard business hours.Relevant Experience 3-4 years track record handling small to medium scale Information Technology projects or programs. Managed medium to large (5 or more resources) distributed/regional teams. Participated in Request for Proposal/Quotation including vendor selection and assessment. Have relevant experience reviewing Statement of Work from 3rd party Budget Tracking Risk ManagementQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Higher Education. Project Management Certification desirable. e.g. PMP, Prince 2.Soft Skills Leadership and people management Excellent communication skills from senior level to technical staffs. Vendor Management Intercultural awareness Team-work ability Contract Preparation, Evaluation and Negotiation Technology Infrastructure Management and Integration Organization and administrative skills Problem solving skills
