As a prominent player in the global diamond industry, we are looking for a highly skilled Chartered Accountant to join our team and ensure the financial health and integrity of our organization.Job Summary:The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and taxation. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finance, impeccable attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the diamond manufacturing industry’s financial regulations.Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. * Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management. * Oversee and ensure timely tax filings, GST returns, and other statutory compliance requirements. * Conduct internal audits and develop risk management strategies to protect the company’s assets and ensure operational efficiency. * Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights, forecasting, and strategic planning for business growth. * Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth audit processes. * Prepare financial reports and present them to the management team and stakeholders. * Monitor financial performance and identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement. * Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including IFRS/GAAP and other applicable financial guidelines. * Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and variance analysis. * Manage inventory valuation and reconciliation for diamond stock to ensure accurate reporting. * Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and standards to keep the company compliant.Qualifications and Skills: * Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. * Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the diamond or Gem & Jewelry sector (is must). * Strong knowledge of financial management principles, auditing, taxation, and compliance. * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non financial stakeholders. * Experience in inventory management and reconciliation within the diamond or luxury goods industry is a plus. * Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Salary:Competitive, based on experience and qualifications.Benefits: * Attractive compensation package. * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. * Health and wellness benefits. * Flexible work arrangements, as needed
