The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end web development, software development, and creating CSS for the platform. Day-to-day tasks include working on all aspects of development to ensure a seamless user experience. Responsibilities Understand project requirements and develop tools that meet industry standards for functionality and scalability. Design and implementNext.jsfront-end interfaces with a focus on usability and exceptional user experience (UI/UX). Develop robustNode.jsbackend services and RESTful APIs to support front-end applications. Work in collaboration with the data science team to integrate analytics and insights into the platform. Lead projects and provide mentorship to junior developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Research, propose, and implement UI/UX designs that align with business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across the stack. Optimise platform performance and ensure database efficiency usingMySQLorPostgreSQL . Manage and maintain deployment pipelines onAWS , ensuring scalability and reliability. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, debug issues, and implement effective solutions. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. Participate in brainstorming and contribute creative ideas for platform enhancement. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while conducting thorough code reviews. Qualifications Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with expertise in both front-end and back-end development. Strong proficiency inNext.jsfor front-end development. Extensive experience withNode.jsfor backend services and RESTful API development. Familiarity with relational databases likeMySQLorPostgreSQL , including schema design and optimisation. Hands-on experience withAWSfor server management and deployment. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of modern front-end frameworks/libraries. Knowledge of best practices for security, performance optimisation, and scalability in web development. Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative development. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
