Job Description

We are searching for a VP Human Capital, for a well known rural-tech company, in the energy industry.Key Responsibilities : Develop a high-level enterprise wide and functional organization structure staged over a three year time horizon for India and Africa operations to ensure that growth objectives are delivered. Define a recruitment strategy to attract and select highly competent people at top, mid-level management, as well as the high-volume recruitment process at other levels. Be a hands-on manager with abilities to not only develop strategies but the ability to execute strategies at Head Office and on the ground. Formulate a performance management approach and KPIs to align people with organizational objectives. Identify critical roles and strategies to ensure a strong pipeline of talent to support business continuity. Develop and implement a Learning and Development plan, with a focus on leadership skills. Deploy and manage human capital risk management plan for all business units in India and Africa For Indian and foreign offices, remain up to date on best HR practices and labour laws and implement relevant practices in the countries of operations. Be an integral part of the executive team and provide key human capital strategic insights to senior management.Skills & Qualifications : MBA preferred, Bachelor’s degree is required; a relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred 15+ years of experience in handing responsibilities across multiple states and preferably multiple continents (Asia and Africa) with reputed organizations Exceptional people manager with an experience of heading HR department of a reputed company with more than 300 employees. Hands-on experience implementing HR policies, Learning and Development programs; experience running leadership development programs is strongly preferred Ability to communicate with employees at all levels in a language that makes sense to them. Excellent command on both Hindi and English languages. Personable and professional who is culturally sensitive and has experience in building diverse teams, empowering team-members, and driving toward results and accountability. Experience in reporting comprehensive financials to investors
