We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Ad Tech Lead (Sales and Programmatic Revenue) to join our team and drive our Ad Strategy. Ad Tech Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the development, implementation, and optimization of our advertising technology stack, ensuring seamless integration of programmatic ad solutions and driving monetization strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team, collaborate across departments, and contribute to the future of digital advertising in a rapidly evolving landscape.Key Responsibilities1.) Campaign performance management and Operational Metrics: Monitor Ad Ratios, Viewability, CTR, etc. : Continuously track and analyze key ad metrics (CTR, ad ratio, viewability) to identify fluctuations. Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to resolve issues impacting ad performance. Programmatic Partner Implementation on Site : Oversee the seamless integration and implementation of programmatic partners for ads and widgets on the website to ensure smooth ad delivery and optimize revenue generation 2.) Platform Development and Management: Website Audit and Issue Resolution : Conduct regular website audits to identify technical inefficiencies and performance issues. Work with the technical team to implement solutions for improving site speed and performance. Collaboration with Tech Teams for Bug Fixes : Collaborate with the Tech team to resolve bugs caused by ad partners. Ensure web vitals (CLS, PLT, LCP, etc.) are maintained to enhance user experience and site performance 3.) Industry Benchmarking, Ad Innovation and Development: Deployment of New Ad Units : Drive the research, development, and deployment of new ad formats designed to improve CTR and increase absolute revenue through better CPMs. Evaluate and test innovative ad units for performance improvements. Adoption Rate of New Ad Units : Track and report the adoption rate of new ad units. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize their usage and effectiveness. Video Ads Strategy : Research the competitive landscape and identify opportunities in video ads. Create inventory and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for video ad rollouts aimed at driving monetization. Global Competition Benchmarking : Continuously monitor and analyze new ad formats and revenue models being adopted globally to ensure competitiveness and maximize revenue potential. 4.) Automation Projects with In House Teams and External Partners: Programmatic Pricing Optimization : Develop and implement programmatic pricing strategies based on geography and platform to maximize ad revenue. Audience Cohort Automation : Design and implement automated cohort-based strategies to enhance CTR delivery and optimize audience targeting for improved ad performance. New Partner/Capability Integration : Identify, evaluate, and integrate new partners and capabilities that could increase revenue for programmatic, audience targeting, and ad operations. 5.) Supporting Audience Selling Business: Product Roadmap for CDP Platform : Own and drive the product roadmap for the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring that the platform aligns with sales team needs and client expectations. Competition Benchmarking on CDP : Analyse and benchmark CDP offerings across the industry, identifying gaps and opportunities to enhance the product and meet or exceed client demands. Program Management of Data Enrichment : Oversee the data enrichment activities within the CDP, ensuring that enriched data improves campaign performance and optimizes ad targeting.Qualifications/Requirements Any Bachelor’s degree. (Master's degree preferred). 6-10 years of experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or a similar role within a media or tech company. Expertise in ad tech platforms, technologies, and tools (e.g., Google Ad Manager, SpotX, The Trade Desk, etc.). Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic projects in ad technology and monetization. Strong analytical skills and experience in optimizing campaign performance based on data insights. Familiarity with web vitals and performance metrics (e.g., CLS, LCP, PLT) and their impact on ad serving. Familiarity with ad revenue models such as CPM, CPC, CPA, and their impact on campaign strategies.
