The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the banking sector, a solid understanding of compliance frameworks, and the ability to effectively manage regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities: Ensure the bank’s operations comply with local, state, and national regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and programs. Conduct regular compliance audits and reviews to identify potential risks or non-compliance issues. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation. Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and coordinate responses to regulatory inquiries or audits. Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance-related matters and best practices. Review and assess internal processes, policies, and documentation for alignment with compliance standards. Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory authorities. Investigate and resolve compliance issues promptly and effectively.Qualifications: Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory roles within the banking sector. Proven expertise in handling regulatory frameworks and audits.Skills: Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance practices in India. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
