Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Patent Paralegal. As a Patent Paralegal at Photon Legal, the role will require the individual to assist attorneys in all stages of the patent process including, but not limited to, filing Indian and foreign patent applications, preparing legal documents, supporting the prosecution of patents, coordinating with Foreign Attorneys, docketing, and assisting accounts team in invoicing. The Patent Paralegal will be responsible for organizing and maintaining client files as they relate to patent prosecution matters.QualificationsPatent Law, Patent Preparation, and Patent Applications knowledge.Experience with Legal Document Preparation and patent Prosecution.Excellent organizational, time management, communication, and attention to detail skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and to work well independently.Basic knowledge of computers and software tools including Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat is essential.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in paralegal studies or IP law.Prior experience working in a law firm is preferred.
