The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, Business development, excellent negotiation skills and a strong network among key decision makers in the respective category. Key Responsibilities:Business Development: Identify and target large potential education/edtech partners, develop strategic plans, and execute strategies to onboard and build long-term relationships. Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Education/EdTech organizations to foster collaboration and trust.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to understand the organization structures of Education/EdTech players, expand to new markets and achieve revenue targets.Market Research: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities in the Education space.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product development, Sales, Alliances, Finance, Marketing, and Operations teams to align on product offerings and support partners effectively.Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and report key business metrics, sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management experience in similar space.Proven track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.Strong understanding of the education market, industry trends, and customer needs.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively(with internal and external stakeholders) in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to travel as per business requirements
