Overview of The Role:We are on the hunt for a talented Content Editor to join our dynamic marketing team and help shape the voice of Birdeye. This is more than a role—it’s an opportunity to lead the charge in creating exceptional, business-driven content that speaks to our B2B SaaS audience and drives measurable outcomes.As a Content Editor, you will craft, refine, and oversee content that not only engages but also strategically aligns with Birdeye’s business objectives. This role demands expertise in storytelling, a knack for strategic thinking, and an unwavering focus on delivering high-quality content that resonates with our audience and advances our business goals.What You’ll Do:Content Strategy & Creation:Develop and implement robust content strategies aligned with Birdeye’s marketing objectives and broader business goals.Craft compelling, business-driven content for a variety of formats, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, eBooks, website copy, email campaigns, and social media.Collaboration & Audience Insights:Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to gather insights and deeply understand the needs of our B2B SaaS audience.Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and provides measurable value to our target audience.Editing & Quality Assurance:Edit and proofread content produced by team members, ensuring accuracy, adherence to style guidelines, and alignment with business objectives.Maintain impeccable quality standards in grammar, structure, and tone.SEO & Performance Optimization:Optimize content for search engines with well-researched keywords, meta tags, and linking strategies that align with business relevance.Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, using data to refine strategies and enhance engagement.Research & Innovation:Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging content marketing techniques.Propose innovative ideas to evolve Birdeye’s content strategy and enhance its business impact.What We’re Looking For:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.8–10 years of experience in content creation and editing, with a strong preference for B2B SaaS expertise.Skills & Expertise:Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce content that is clear, concise, and aligned with business objectives.Deep understanding of content marketing principles and strategies.Proficiency in SEO best practices, keyword research tools, and analytics platforms.Mindset & Attributes:A strong analytical mindset, capable of using data to inform content decisions.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines without compromising quality.Self-driven, detail-oriented, and an excellent collaborator.
