We collaborate with marketing leaders and cross-functional teams to define key performance metrics, establish analytics frameworks, and drive optimization in marketing strategies.About the role: MakeMyTrip is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data expert for Marketing Analytics and Engineering team. This role will be a part of Marketing Analytics team wherein the incumbent would be responsible for delivering analytical insights from different data sources and enabling Business Teams to further scale growth. The person will be responsible for analyzing customer data, reporting, monitoring and tracking different CRM campaigns.What will you be doing: Customer Insights:Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using Statistics. Data Analysis:Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, and Python (preferable) to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets. Reporting and Data Visualization:Create clear and concise reports and automated dashboards using data platform tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Adwords etc., to communicate insights effectively to leadership and cross-functional teams. Marketing Performance analysis:Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to marketing campaigns and initiatives, through customer segmentation, campaign performance analysis, or ROI measurement.Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (B. Tech. or equivalent). 2-3 years of professional experience in analytics, data science, or consumer insights roles. Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python for data analysis. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, MixPanel, Google Analytics). Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proven track record of delivering business impact through data-driven insights.Key Success factors of the role: Ability to interpret complex datasets and derive insights using statistical techniques. Lead the reporting, monitoring and tracking for the different CRM campaigns. Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations by integrating various reporting components from multiple (structured and unstructured) data sources.
